I'm genuinely sorry some of you are having these problems—but at this point, I thought it might be helpful, or at least momentarily diverting, or maybe just an example of particularly bad taste, take your pick—to mention that Sysinternal's free BlueScreen Screen Saver is still hosted here on Microsoft's Learn site.

What's more, the developers went to special trouble to make it seem convincing. From the description:
Though it was released in 2006, it still works gloriously in Win 11. (I just tried it—nostalgia!)
It's probably not something that would interest those of you who are having bluescreen problems right now. But once you've solved the problems (and you know you will), it'd be a fun way to laugh about them. Or maybe it's just in tremendously bad taste for me to bring it up here, in this part of the forum. I'm sure it's one or the other, anyway. And it seemed thematically related, right?
At the very least, this may be where we see how much of a sense of humour the admins have (even in the face of catastrophe, etc.—which doesn't seem like a bad quality to have, IMHO—just saying
).
Okay then! Cheers, A.

Bluescreen cycles between different Blue Screens and simulated boots every 15 seconds or so. Virtually all the information shown on Bluescreen's BSOD and system start screen is obtained from your system configuration—its accuracy will fool even advanced [developers]... The build number, processor revision, loaded drivers and addresses, disk drive characteristics, and memory size are all taken from the system Bluescreen is running on.
