Solved Problem with 'Other Devices'

I just updated my system to 24H2 and came across this issue In Device Manager after installing what drivers I have for this Desktop PC. So I'm flummoxed as to what the problem is.

I would be grateful of any information that will help in sorting this out.

P.S. I have two SSDs on the system but they are not involved with being 'RAID' anything. To be honest I'm not entirely sure what RAID is in any detail.

Thank you Ghot but I already have the Intel Driver & Support Assistant installed and it says I am up to date. Though that said there was one driver it did offer concerning Graphics that I chose to hide at the Intel website in case that driver caused problems.

I have now had a look at the Asus Motherboard website for my machine and the only driver there that is offered that I haven't installed is titled: SATA: Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver software v20.1.0.1015 for Windows 10/11 64-bit.

Do you think if I install that it will fix the problem I'm querying here? I don't think that was installed to my system when I first got it.

open Device Manager > right click on device > properties > details tab > hardwar IDs from dropdown

Thanks Ghot. I installed the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Driver and that cured the 'RAID Controller' issue on reboot.

That left the 'PCI Device' and the 'SM Bus Controller' still flagged as issues in Device Manager. I had already installed the Chipset driver (that was the first thing I did once I was in to the new 24H2 system). However, I tried repairing that Chipset driver installation, uninstalling and reinstalling it, re-downloading it from Asus and then installing again, all with system reboots and all to no avail.

Then I started trying to research on the internet stuff to do with 'PCI Device' and 'SM Bus Controller' and (cutting a long story short) eventually arrived at this webpage: SMBus Controller Not Recognized by Windows. So, from there, downloaded Intel® Chipset Software Installation Utility and installed that. Did a reboot and... Voilà! Problem solved, 'PCI Device' and 'SM Bus Controller' disappeared from Device Manager as issues!

All fixed, it seems. Happy again. :0)

That said I'm a bit perplexed as to why Asus didn't have the Intel Chipset Software Installation Utility listed at their own Drivers Webpages. Ah, well...

Well, ASUS has the actual drivers, so they don't really need the utility? :-)
I'm really not an Intel person.

I just know that Intel or AMD... when you see the Other Devices issues... it is usually cured with the chipset drivers.
For AMD... chipset drivers are a lot easier. You go to AMD, download the drivers and install them. That's it. 8-)
