Hi guys can I ask for a little help please if I open a web browser and type outlook.com it goes to my outlook account and all my emails are on view. So please how do I stop this auto login and this stops me access to my other email accounts

Also I am using Microsoft office 365 and I regularly get a flashing dialog box with nothing in it and down at the bottom near the task bar it says needs password.

I have two computers running the same software, but the problem is only on one.

Help please.

Whilst still logged in to my main email account, I click on my picture / initials in the top right-hand corner & select the grey bit at the bottom of the dialog that appears - Sign in with a different account

- I make sure I do not set any checkboxes for automatically logging in to any others.
- This works even without changing the auto-login to my main email account.

I leave my main email account on auto-login but, if I did not want to do that, I'd go to
[in Edge, it's similar in others],
... [More options],
Settings,
Passwords,
then delete the entry for my main email account.

All the best,
Denis

I am using Microsoft office 365 and I regularly get a flashing dialog box with nothing in it and down at the bottom near the task bar it says needs password.

If the dialog is blank, what says needs password? Are there two dialog boxes?
A screenshot would clarify matters.

Step 1 - It sounds to me as though
- MSOffice Outlook, File menu, Account settings might have lost an email account's password, or
- MS have rejected it because of previous "suspicious activity"*** so check the email accounts you check in MSOffice Outllok and the WSindows 10 EMail app beginning with the email account your auto-login is set up for - Review recent activity Your secondary email address is supposed to be sent an email when this rejection happens.
*** They always call it "suspicious activity" even though the logins have been from the same application as normal in the same computer as normal in the same location as normal. I think they just like annoying us.

Step 2 - I do not know why that dialog box is blank. I suspect that you might also have a Windows display problem. Personally, I'd get another copy of the display driver from the computer maker / display card maker & reinstall it even if it was the same version as the one already installed. I would do this even before trying to investigate the blank dialog box by more logical means because nothing else is going to diagnose that the display driver has been corrupted - reinstallation will at least eliminate it from enquiries.

Step 3 - If the Outlook login problem remains then I think you'd be better off using a separate thread for it and including a screenshot of the dialog box[es].
Search in, and if necessary create that separate thread in the TenForums MSOffice section [ElevenForum does not have one].

Best of luck,
Denis

Welcome to ElevenForum.

It's really worth making time to browse through the ElevenForum Tutorial index - there's a shortcut to it at the top of every ElevenForum page [within the Tutorials dropdown list].
- At the foot of the ElevenForum Tutorial index is a shortcut to download it as a spreadsheet.
- I download a new copy each month.
- By downloading it as a spreadsheet I can benefit from Excel's excellent filtering capabilities when I search for topics of interest.
- ElevenForum tutorials are also listed at Tutorials and there's a shortcut to that at the top of every page.

You can search ElevenForum using the search box in the top-right corner of all ElevenForum webpages or using Advanced Search - ElevenForum
- You can also search ElevenForum threads in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:elevenforum.com after your search term. For example,
Taskbar setup site:elevenforum.com
- [This is what the search box in the top-right corner of ElevenForum webpages does automatically]

For MSOffice problems search in and, if necessary, create threads in the TenForums MSOffice section [ElevenForum does not have one].
