I have in another thread asked how find an app that is supposedly already running is and my USB stick is not showing up as drive in Windows Explorer I have used DISKPART to find it and it is listed as disk 1 and formatted it . Now before I go stir crazy is there any way I can try to get this USB stick to show as a drive?
Right now I am stumped as what to do. Anyone?

With the Flash drive plugged In and booted to Windows, press the Windows key+X and choose Disk Management.
In the Lower Pane, is your Flash drive showing as Disk 1? If it is Unallocated Space, it is not partitioned and formatted. You can do that here by right clicking it and choosing to make a New Simple Volume, Partitioning it and Formatting it FAT32.
If under Disk 1 it says Not Initialized, then you can right click it and choose Initialize. If this fails, the drive has probably failed.
If the Flash Drive shows as Healthy, Partitioned and Formatted, in Disk Management, then start Rufus.
Under Device, it should list your Flash drive. At the very bottom it should say 1 device found, under Status, it should say Ready.
