My Kamrui AM08PRO mini pc died; I'm not sure why. It was on standby when I accidently unplugged it, and it never turned back on. Didn't use it much, so it's not a big loss. I am primarily a Mac, iOS user. But I still need a PC to operate my ham radio station. With my experience with these little machines, I knew what I wanted this time.

The GMKtec mini PC's have good reviews. The NucBox K11 I have coming has an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS with a clock speed of up to 5.2 GHz, 30 gigs of DDR5 RAM, which can be expanded to 96 gigs, and 2 TB of PCIe storage, expandable to 8 TB. A Radeon 780M integrated GPU. This time, I will need no upgrades. I ordered it directly from the manufacturer and saved $200. The form factor of the Kamrui became a real irritation on the desktop; It comes with Windows 11 Pro installed. It has WiFi 6, USB 4 and can drive four 4K monitors. It has a nice cubical form factor. With two cooling fans, heat is not going to be a problem; you can see the top fan has RGB lighting.
