I've had the new folder option for a while now?

Here's ten points though... just for filling out your computer specs. :-)

Here are some things that you may find useful...

In file explorer, right click "New" has always given "folder" as one of the selections....like since as long as I can remember.

They might be talking about the new function (being rolled out apparently?) of being able to select New Folder in the left pane of explorer. Not sure, the OP is a little vague about the issue in this thread.

I'm on the same/current Version and Build. When I right-click a Drive or Folder in the left/Navigation pane below This PC I can click on Show more options then at the bottom of that menu get New then Folder. It does not work in the right pane.

not a nav pane option in 23h2. but you dont have new > folder in the directory window (the 'right pane')?

Only if right-clicking a blank area in the right pane, not a choice when right-clicking a folder. A real pain when trying to make a new subfolder in a folder, have to open a folder then the blank area to get the choice.

ahh gotcha. yeah just another reason cmd is the way to go lol

EDIT: @Berton
create a .bat with this:
(Source for .bat basis)

Code:
@Echo off
SetLocal
PushD "%~1"
For %%A in (
  New-Subfolder
) Do MD "%__CD__%%%A"
PopD
save as a .bat file. use any context menu editor tool to add it to your Folder context menu. i used sordum Easy Context Menu and tested it just now. Works perfectly.
