I would do these things, in the order I listed.

1. "Disable" drivers being included in Windows Updates...

2. Get the LAN driver from your motherboard's website. Here...

3. In Device manager, uninstall the Realtek driver, and install the one from your motherboard's website.

Many times, the drivers included with Windows Updates will corrupt the already installed drivers.
This could be what's causing your problems.

Also... I gave you ten points for almost filling out your computer specs.

What does this mean?
Plugged the ethernet cable into another computer, and it worked, so i know its not a issue with the cable.

Got it.
What does the Troubleshooter say in Control Panel? (post #4)

Also... are you running any 3rd party antiviruses?
If so, it may be reacting badly with the RealTek driver, or it's installer.

You could also try this...

says "Ethernet Cable not connected" which makes no sense (unless the port is damaged) but has worked for many years and i recently just switched to Wi-Fi do to rearranging office and didn't have a good way to get ethernet but found a solution (Powerline Adapter)

It could be a damaged port on the motherboard. I had that happen once.
You can also get an Ethernet card for around $20

You can change the country at the top right if needed.

Yea I’m thinking that might be my best option, is a NIC to just bypass it and see if that fixes it

At minimum it'll have a new connector.

Yeah. I would try a cheap one and see if it's the motherboard connector that's bad.
With today's fiber connections, you may need to grab a more expensive one (for the higher speeds), if you find the cheap one works.
The cheaper Ethernet card is just a way to test if the motherboard Ethernet connector is bad.

This is a 10GB Ethernet card PCIex8

The RealTek driver at the MSI website is from January 2025.
At least it claims to be.

device manager - right click your current - uninstall device - check box to delete driver too - disconnect wifi (turn it off) - reboot - install driver without internet connected (if you leave internet during reboot, windows will install a generic driver at boot/login)

Tried this, when I rebooted it showed my internet as still disconnected, when I went to look at device manager it showed a basic driver for Ethernet, but I kept wifi off and installed new driver, gave me an option for modify or install, I did modify to reinstall all the driver again it installed and still showing same issue it seems
