OS
Windows 11 Pro 24H2
It seemed to start occurring after 24H2 was installed on my PC. Running Win 11 Pro 24H2. I have attached a screen shot of the popup. I am not sure what might be running taskkill, I verified my bat file the .wsb file calls and the .wsb file itself. I can see taskkill is running the in the process menu, but I see nothing running that it wants to kill.

Thanks, Bill

Look like infection scan your computer for malware infection also disable the startup script file using AutoRuns app.

WSB files have multiple uses, and Microsoft Works Portfolio is one of them.

Nothing like that is running. Defender is not in the process list on the sandbox, although I read the copy on the desktop is doing something on the sandbox. I'm a bit skeptical though. I did just a few minutes ago ran a setup command that is supposed to allow it to run on the sandbox after the next time i reboot the pc. But This has been going on since around the time 24H2 got installed

Use something like System Informer(formerly Process Hacker) or Process Explorer and first drag the window so it can identify the process and then look at the actual process which will show you what is actually trying to open and then also look at the parent process. Basically reverse trace it.
