Remote desktop disconnect the remote computer's USB hub

So I have a Windows PC running Windows pro that connects to a Thunderbolt Hub. The Hub has ethernet and second monitor. It seems to work fine I don't seemed to have disconnect issues. However, if I remote desktop to the computer, the hub is disconnected when I log out requiring me to restart the hub. Is there a reason why this is happening and what's good work around?

Thanks, but I am sure #2 applies, it seems to be talking about bridging local device like the devices on my desktop with the machine I am RDPing too. What #2 seems to be saying is that you can bridge USB so that the machine you remote to can access your thunderbolt hub but when you disconnect that bridge gets broken.
