For the last few years, once climbing up and down the stairs became a bit difficult for me, I have been using Remote Desktop to control the desktop PC upstairs from my laptop and it has always worked well - until this week that is, when the PC has stopped responding to connection requests. PC to laptop is still working but not laptop to PC.
I have checked the firewall settings and that the laptop is still able to access the PC's shared folders. All is ok and there do not seem to be any other issues with either system. All highly frustrating, so any help would be highly appreciated.
I know I could use Teamviewer instead but would prefer Remote Desktop if fixable.
