OS
Windows 11 home (23h2)
Dear Elevenforum members,

Recently i got a new laptop with Windows 11 home (23H2). I have configured it to my wishes so far. I just have a question. At the bottom right I see the time, the date eraser and a kind of bell/clock. When I click on this, a notifications screen opens and the calendar/agenda is attached to it.

Question: Can I remove this icon/bell/clock so that I no longer see it? (far bottom right, see screenshots)

I would like to know how I can remove this. Thank you in advanced!

Greetings, Rich

Hi there, welcome to the ElevenForums 🙏

The only way I know is to disable the notification centre. Try Option Two, the reg file methods are always a bonus.

For me it is purely and solely about the bell/clock. The time and date may remain. As always...

Not as far as I am aware without using something like StartAllBack

StartAllBack with Windows 10 Calendar (no bell)

  1. Right-click on the taskbar.
  2. Select 'Taskbar settings.'
  3. Scroll down and find 'Notification area.'
  4. Click on 'Turn system icons on or off.'
  5. Look for the 'Clock' option and toggle it off.
How exactly does that remove the Notification Centre & bell icon?
