I tried on an intel (10 gen) notebook before replace ax201, with be200,
After drivers are installed, wifi work, bluetooth not work. It seems still depend on the motherboard design.
One solution seems fine is to use m.2 keyE to pciE adapter (in PC)..

I recently junked an HP Envy Notebook but retained the Wireless adapter because it offered 2G and 5G, replaced an older version in a Dell Inspiron that did not have 5G. Works fine. Fortunately the cards are the same 30mm width and same screw mount and 2 antennae connections.

You can but it is debatable if upgrading to wifi 7 will offer you any significant performance benefit over wifi 6.

It depends on various factors e.g. internet Speed, distance of pc from router, drivers, router capability, whether full fibre etc.

One possible issue is the wifi 7 standard is not totally mature yet and some devices .ay claim to be wifi 7 compatible but may not be fully so.

Also need to be sure other devices e.g. mobile phones can connect ok on preferred band (they will not be wifi 7). Answer is probably yes but double check your router spec.

Today I see the roadmap to wifi8!

Wifi7 will soon become popular, iphone also trying to make its own wifi7 module.

Unless you are using wifi over lan networking between local pcs, getting fast wifi 7 may be a bit pointless if wifi 5/6 is significantly faster than internet speeds.

I have 900 mb/s download and did tests with wifi 5 and wifi 6. It made virtually no difference to my download speeds.

Gamers on same LAN may see some benefit of wifi 7 if all devices in wifi 7.

Re. phones getting wifi 7, they may be wifi 7 compatible but many phone vendors (including Samsung) put wifi adaptors which do not even work at full wifi 5 speeds.

Best download I get on my Samsung is 250 Mb/s even when close to router but laptop will get over 700 Mb/s.

In the end, to really benefit from wifi 7, you need quality adaptors, routers etc.

You need the BE201, not the BE200 as you have a CNVIO2 based motherboard which is why you have the AX201 and not the AX200 or AX210 (WiFi 6E).

Cnvio ax201 is v.2 , I think cannot support be201 v.3
It is fairly complex for intel cpu motherboard.

Not sure what version it is... All I know is if it ends in 0, you can use the one ending in 0 assuming it fits and works. and if it ends in 1, that means it's CNVIO and you have to use the one ending in 1.
