Is there a way to unassign the F10 key so I can use it to launch a program? I've been using that key for my graphics program for 25 years but it does not work in Win-11. I could use a different key but I would rather not. I would at least like to give it a try.

MS PowerToys has a keyboard remapping section
and Clavier + is a great tiny program that lets you make any key or key combo do anything you want it to
If you need help with the latter, I'm available. For the former, you'll have to check with others here. I don't have PowerToys.

I fixed it and I'm embarrassed to say how . . . just needed to enter my registration code. How that affected it I dont know because the program does not require it other than for printing and I don't have a printer on this computer. I would delete the whole thread if I could.

No need whatsoever to feel embarrassed. We all do it sometimes: Seems like a challenging problem; we write it up; some great folks come out of the woodwork to help with ideas, and suddenly, we discover how to FIX it, and we didn't really need to bother those other people.
Fuggeddabouddit! Glad you got it made right for you.
