Solved Sign in without pin or password (Microsoft Account)

Hi

(Win 11 Version 24H2)

I am trying to remove the Win11 logon password / pin but its beyond frustrating. I simply want to turn on my laptop and not have to enter anything.

I am signed into my Microsoft Account as Administrator.

When I untick the box in netplwiz 'users must enter a username and password ..." and then restart, the options still require a password.
Is there anyway to remove this, or is my only option to sign in with a Local Account?

Are you clicking “Apply” when you untick the requirement and add the username/password into NetplWiz?

Repeat the process a few times before rebooting. Meaning;
Open NetplWiz
Tick/apply/close.
Open NetplWiz
Untick/enter user& pass/apply/close
Open NetplWiz
Tick/apply/close.
Open NetplWiz
Untick/enter user& pass/apply/close
Reboot

And remember to disable Windows Hello.

Another way is to convert your MS account into local account and disable password.
