Since the Windows 11 Update - Net.Framework update KB5028948 internet browsers no longer work?

Hi,

It seems that since this update on 09/08/23 I am no longer able to use any browser to get on to the internet. My computer shows it's connected to the wi-fi but for some reason I cannot now get online.
Any ideas how to resolve this?

Did you take a system image or create a restore point before you ran Windows Update? If you did, you can restore from that.

Most contributors in this forum use Macrium Reflect or AMOEI to backup their systems.

If you didn't, you can try to remove the latest update(s) by following this procedure

If you are unable to delete any offending update(s), you can try to do a Repair Install Windows 11 with an In-place Upgrade which gives you the option of keeping all your files and apps.

If you have no back-up of your system, you may need to re-install Windows - but make sure you save your user files first.
