Everything is about "Monetisation" these days --- but I'm sure there's other alternatives if you want to live stream stuff.
BTW I hear rumours - and it's only a rumour though that Whatsapp is going to go "subscription" for people who use the Internet rather than their phone company's system for making video calls and limiting the number of people that you can concurrently "meet" with.

Nothing wrong with e-commerce of course - it's just that every organisation is trying to get the last half a eurocent out of everything regardless of what its doing to their customers. For example was there really any need for Macrium to drop its Free edition.
