There have been bugs. 5.81 will be released soon.

In 5.80 they added a “Per Monitor” layout function, but they also buried the layouts one tier deeper which pee’d me off.
They also removed the “rename” layout snapshots. I wasn’t happy at all, they are replacing the function in 5.81 which is currently in Beta.

Still fickle about Fences..., Folder Portals works okay, but Fences still interferes with QTTabBar, and Fences still messes up your Desktop icon alignment. 🤷‍♂️
I opted for 'Portals' by Ross Patterson.

I'll never go back. I couldn't list the benefits if I wanted to. I tried once and broke down crying in a fetal position because of the pure unadulterated love I have for this program 🤣

I like Fences for the Quick Hide and the Sticky to Screen Edge features, but, I can't figure out how to stop it from messin up my Desktop icons.
I appreciate Portals for the Tabs feature, and, it's highly configurable.

Creating a Fence to catch all new items is great, until I can get around to sorting what I need.
Also having items that land on the desktop moved to a Fence by extension type is also cool

I must admit, Fences is powerful and has a lot more going for it than just portals.
Portals, however, seems less glitchy, in a manner of speaking, but, I just noticed sometimes it's sluggish as heck! 🤷‍♂️

I don’t have any issues with it being anything but easy running, and my System One specs are 10 years old.

Tabs would be great, but I read a rumour somewhere.
