I found something similar for Windows 10 but the instructions to fix don't seem to apply. I removed MaxxAudioPro from my laptop. It left an orphaned icon in my Start Menu. How do I delete it? I have tried:
- Delete and let Windows remake the icon cache...didn't work
- Item doesn't have an "open file location" option. It also doesn't show up in the typical Start Menu folders.
- I tried reinstalling and then uninstalling the app. That only created a second icon that did remove when I removed the app. The original orphaned icon remains.
How can I remove this annoying orphan icon/text?
