Solved Still working on Thunderbird. Enlarge font of column heads?

I have had great good luck finding (here at 11F and on the Net in general) finding solutions (mostly with a userChrome.css file) to my customization questions for TBird 102. One thing I haven't been able to adjust is evident in my screenshot below: I don't care about the words Write, Quick Filter, and Delete, but I would dearly love to enlarge the font of the column headers Correspondents, Subject, and Date. Any of you TBird aficionados here know how I can accomplish that?

This can be done within your userChrome.css:

#threadTree treecol, #threadTree .treecol-image {
background-color: orange !important;
border-inline-start: 1px solid grey !important;
padding-top: 2px !important;
padding-bottom: 2px !important;
color: black !important;
font-weight: bold !important;
-moz-appearance: none !important;}

This will bold them & change the colors as desired. Play with those numbers a bit.
Double-click toolkit.legacyUserProfileCustomizations.stylesheets to true in Config. editor, restart TB.
You don't have to use orange, of course, below is just an example.

Following on from Oat's recommendation:
You can also try and set the Size of the font itself, using something like this:
userChrome.css

Code:

#threadTree treecol, #threadTree .treecol-image {
font-size:   22px !important;
font-weight: bold !important;
padding-top: 2px !important;
padding-bottom: 2px !important;
}

adjust font-size px as needed.

Just exactly what I wanted! I'll have to fiddle the px number for size a touch, but basically, I'm home free now. Thank you both for this help.

BTW, ... assuming you're not both just creating this code from your imagination, there must be useful css-code sources you reference when you're tackling a question like mine. Can you direct me to any valuable sites/sources specifically for TBird?

Over on the Thunderbird Support Forums, I saw several queries this afternoon that I could give helpful responses to, since I've been working with (and ON) TBird for several days now, and making it just the mail client I need.

Anyway, ... seems you are asked to join up (no problem, I guess) and take a "course" (problem? maybe.) before you can respond to queries.

My question: Have either of you participated in that forum as a contributor? Any opinion on whether it's worth my time to "join the community" there?

No, I haven't joined as I feel the answers provided there are usually all I need.
Outlook is my primary client and TB is on my 2-3 other systems.
Thunderbird is also a very easy mail client to customize and use, I just don't see the need to join.
I am also one of the moderators on a rather large site, so time is limited.

I haven't joined either, although the ThunderBird forum often turns up when seeking answers to ThunderBird issues on the web. I personally tend to use CSS customizations in Firefox only, and as you might know, the same (or similar) principles for CSS also apply to Thunderbird.

Well, I registered, but didn't sign up for any "course," and now when I visit the site, my avatar shows up and I'm able to answer queries. I know my answers registered on the site, because they've received responses from OPs. Well, well.
