Strange User Accounts

I have a new Lenovo laptop and I notice If I go to (C:) > Users, I see six user accounts, but if I go to Settings >
Accounts > Other Users, I don't see any other accounts. How can I get rid of some of them?

Can you name them please?

You should have

-Default
-Default User
-Public
-All Users

-DevToolsUser

+ Your own user name >> only this one is accessible for change in Accounts.

All Users, Default, Default User, Public.
I had a thought and checked and had show hidden files checked. Is the Public User account Ligit? It is still there.
The remaining accounts are My user account and Public, but they still don't show up in Other Users.

In addition, if you open a command prompt and type the command NET USERS you will see there are a number of built-in accounts in adition to any you may have created for yourself.

Here I have highlighted my own accounts in green, and the built in accounts in yellow.

    fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

    My SYSTEM THREE is a Dell Latitude 5410, i7-10610U, 32GB RAM, 512GB NVMe ssd, supported device running Windows 11 Pro.

    My SYSTEM FOUR is a 2-in-1 convertible Lenovo Yoga 11e 20DA, Celeron N2930, 8GB RAM, 256GB ssd. Unsupported device: currently running Win10 Pro, plus Win11 Pro RTM and Insider Dev, Beta, and RP 24H2 as native boot vhdx.

Yes, it contains the Public Desktop folder, and other public folders. It's not an account, even though there's a folder for it in Users. This folder is accessible to all users.

Usually when you install software it will place a shortcut on the Public Desktop so that all users will see it on their own desktops.

Another easier way to see all accounts on a system is to go to advanced system settings, (you can just search it) and then go to advanced > user profiles > settings.
