Hi,
I'm not sure how/when it happened.
It might be after the last clean install or it can be during the normal usage of the system.
But I tried this:
1. in Device Manager I selected the mouse, then chosen "view per container" and disabled the for each element of the tree "allow system to put this device to sleep", and if available also enabled "allow device to wake up system".
2. disabled "allow standby states S1-S3" in Gpedit, and enabled "turn on the ability for applications to prevent sleep transitions" as also "allow applications to prevent automatic sleep".
3. I have modern standby, confirmed with powercfg /a, I even disabled S3 in the BIOS.
It's not deadly, the system wakes up when I press a key, but it kind of faffs me off that I instinctively go to the mouse like always and it doesn't work.
It's like if someone changed the height of my bedroom and I keep hitting my head there.
Can this be solved and how?
Thnx
