Hello,
I'm looking to replace the following UWP apps:
Before somebody asks what's wrong with inbox apps, they are complete crap. Why oh, why do they have to make it so complicated? There are like 8 billion versions of dependencies these apps have with every app needing a specific version because the dependency packages are not backwards compatible, how Microsoft of them! I'm telling you, I totally did not see that coming. Coupled with the fact that most of them don't work correctly. Snipping tool can't record video, Photos app refuse to start even with all the dependencies installed, Paint has that annoying AI generate feature that doesn't work without a Microsoft account. Notepad is fine, but I might just replace it when I'm replacing every thing else, provided I find the suitable alternative.
And before somebody suggest trying the other versions, I did that too. They have their own issues. Photos app crashes as soon as I click settings, snipping tool refuses to capture the snips so on and so forth.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Edit: It doesn't necessarily have to be a UWP app, win32 apps are fine too, even preferable. Free or paid are of no concern.
