Syncing between Outlook 2021 and Pixel 8 Pro

For years I've used Companion Link to sync my Outlook info to my Android.....this was on Win 10.....
worked flawlessly for some 8-10 years.....
Now I have switched to Win 11......installed Companion Link and it worked for a couple months.......now it has stopped syncing....

Talking to support at Companion Link........they offer only......re-install it.......Done that about 6 times and it does not work....
I think the issue is my Gmail requires that I use an App Password in Outlook.......whereas I use my normal configured password on my cell phone and pad......I don;t think Companion Link can handle App Passwords....

So.......I am looking for an alternative solution....
I found AkrutoSync but the installation is a bitch...cannot make it work....

How do some of you sync info between Outlook and your cell phone....
All suggestions and ideas appreciated....

I have no experience with Companion Link, so all of this is only what I see on the Companion Link web site. From their docs it would appear that Companion Link can use either a Google Generated App Password or oAuth authorization (what Microsoft calls "Modern" authentication).

Again, I have no experience with Companion Link, so I'm not sure of exactly what data you need to sync or how you are using it on your Android phone. All I needed was the ability to sync my Outlook Contacts and Calendar between my PC and my Google Account. For that I've been using Outlook4Gmail for a number of years. Install the outlook app and enable contacts sync. You will then see an option in Google contacts to show your Outlook contacts and / or your Google contacts.

What was wrong with the thread here - Companion Link Software is not syncing

As to your issue, don't know what's going on cause it's working perfectly fine for me in Windows 11 Pro (24H2) and my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.

BTW, I've been trying to find an alternate means to CompanionLink myself, but I keep coming back to CL. Been using it since at least 2005. That said, I'm going to give @Steve C suggestion a try and see how that works for me. I need both my Desktop Outlook 365 Outlook app, and my Android Contacts sync'd, and why I'm locked into CompanionLink.

When CL pops up with "wrong password".....the verbage makes me think it is looking for my Outlook password........
But it's not.....it wants the Deja Cloud password.....

So...I accidently fixed it and it's working perfectly.....

LOL - yeah, that'll do it.

BTW, nowhere in either of your threads did you ever mention "password" issue.

Also, for the record (for others) you don't have to use Deja Cloud, you can use Wi-Fi, BT, USB, Google sync from the dropdown box.

And now you just showed me I can use WiFi BT or USB to sync......gonna have to check into that...

Well, those options I mentioned has been there since I started using CL in 2005, especially syncing over Wi-Fi and BT, what's new is Cloud which has been there at least since 2016. Not sure how you could have missed those considering you had to use the dropdown menu to choose a sync option.
