Solved Task Manager gone from RC on Taskbar

Just noticed that Task Manager manager has disappeared from Taskbar right click menu, just like it was in the beginning. Not sure exactly when, possibly after last update. It still works from right click menu on Start button. I'm not using Vive tool or anything like that.

Mine is still present on Taskbar, but I used this "before" MS put the Task Manager on the Taskbar right click menu.
It may work...
It's just two reg patches... enable / disable

Thanks for this. All but one of my W11 laptops got Task Manager back on the taskbar right-click when MS put it back, but one didn't.

I'm sure I checked the code, way back when I first found it... but now that I'm getting senile, my memory ain't what it used to be. :D

The "date modified" on the zip file on my storage drive is: 9/25/2022

Icons change location like groceries move from one store shelf to another :eek1:

I seem to have noticed that key combinations are more static, e.g. ctrl+alt+delete has the Task Manager for a very long time :-)
