Solved Taskbar thumbnails preview not showing on top taskbar

Hi

I'm not asking often help but I'm stucked with this issue when using taskbar on top , thumbnails preview not showing when hovering taskbar icons . Every Taskbar settings are ok because it works with default location on bottom . I've searched all over the net without success and no clue how to solve that . Is that possible ?
My concerned mini PC is under windows 11 21h2 .
Thanks for any help !

That OS version is really very old.
We’ve already gone past 22H2, we are currently on 23H2 and 24H2 is expected this year.

  • Open search on your PC, type CMD.
  • Right click on CMD and “Open as admin”
  • Click on the following command so it copies to your clipboard and paste it into the CMD window:
DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth​
  • Press enter and be patient.
  • Reboot your PC when finished.
After reboot:
  • Open search on your PC, type CMD.
  • Right click on CMD and “Open as admin”
  • Click on the following command so it copies to your clipboard and paste it into the CMD window:
SFC /scannow​
  • Press enter and be patient.

Hi Antspants ty for reply gonna follow your advices ! yes I bought this unit pC few days ago and OS was at that version I tried o upgrade to 23H2 but was so slow despite I have a wired connection 1 gb , gonna try again to update I'm using a trigkey 16 giga DDR4 G4 N100 for my living room ? will tell if it fixes the issue

The version of your OS has nothing to do with your internet connection. But if it slowed down using your PC in general, then that is a different story. 🙏

I wasn't aware Win11 was changed to allow moving the taskbar, just centered or left without using third-party add-ins.
