Since a few days I try to backup my uploaded videos in YouTube studio but every time I get this...

1734460465404.webp
ACCESS TO rr4--sn-5hne6nzk.c.youtube.com is denied, you have no permissions to load the page.
HTTP ERROR 403

But when I use my trusty Proton VPN all is fine and every thing is in working order. Does this mean I have a IP-BAN from Google, and if so, how long does that last? (it began 4 days ago out of nowhere and I still have access to other Google services.) And with others I can only see the progressbar move on to of the browser and that's it.

What I tried:
- Reset router (other IP number). Did not work
- Other browser. Did not work.
- Restart PC. Ofcourse THAT didn't work!
- Antivirus. Nope, Nothing.

So yeah... can you figure it out what is going on? And anyone else experience(d) this problem?
Help!

There's no way to tell if there is an IP ban from Google. HTTP 403 simply means insufficient permissions to view some web resource. It's entirely up to the developers and application logic that dictates error codes and while there are common practices on which code to return there is nothing preventing an application owner from returning any error code they prefer to use.

Have you posted any on youtube? Or do you have any business on youtube?

Google youtube ban. This is pretty common these days because of google censorship.
If yes, then you will have to call-in and explain and discuss with youtube about your account.

True, the ban has “temporary” and “permanent”. Depend on your explanation.

Per google procedure, if you fail at its AI screen, then there is a chance you will talk to real human. If this 2nd screen you fail again. The ban will be permanent.

In worst case, you can open a new youtube account but lose your previous resources on youtube.

I use now the free PROTON VPN and with THAT everything works fine, even downloading my uploaded videos! When I turn VPN off however...... BAM! Back to the errors!

If your router have dynamic IP address, restart it to get new IP address.

- Reset router (other IP number). Did not work
Do you mean that you received a different IP address? If you do then it can sometimes take more than one attempt to get an IP address that makes Google happy. There's no need to "reset" your router - just turn if off for a while, or ideally, leave it off when you go out. If you have a static IP address from your Internet provider then none of that will help.

If it was a YouTube Ban - you wouldn't be able to use/access your account. That's how a YouTube Ban usually works - you get your account suspended. Since you can use you account just fine with a VPN - i take it - your IP (or maybe your internet provider) - did something to trigger their firewalls (probably someone used your IP for a DDoS attack).

A closer look at your posting IP history and you seem to have a semi-static IP (over 85 posts made from it), where it had changed looks like a you were using a VPN to post..

I've had a look on your ISP forums and they say the IP's a dynamic but hardly ever change.

Yes I had a VPN (Private Internet Access) but I can HARDLY recommend that one, it really slooooows your internet down. Also slows Cloudflare my internet down and it is not very safe (reviews quickly) so I stick with Proton FREE for now. Does the same trick (downloading!) and it keeps my speed as it is.
