I recently bought an Acer Aspire 3 with Windows 11. Somehow, while setting various things, I have ended with text, images and screen sizes of many different sizes and zooms. What has happened, what have I done and how do I correct things please?

I would try doing a System Restore, back to a date before you did all your "setting various things".
