Windows 11
Hello everyone,
I have an annoying problem that I would like to fix. The following scenario:
I work with Windows 11 and the Logitech K400 keyboard with integrated touchpad.
EVERY TIME I first touch the edge of the touchpad (surface = keyboard) and then the touchpad (surface = touchpad) - lateral slide, then the Microsoft team window pops up, with a hint to install it after all, when vertical Slide (edge first, then touchpad) will bring up another Microsoft window.
Unfortunately, this happens quite often and is really annoying because you first have to click on an empty area to hide the window (or esc).
This severely limits my work.

Oh yes, for software/drivers I use unify (radio), and the latest LogiTech drivers. Unfortunately, their download page (like everything about Logitech support) is pretty modest...

Does anyone know this problem?
With Windows 10 WITHOUT Office, but also K400 (with the same software/drivers) everything is fine.
Can this possibly also be solved via the registry?
I can't uninstall Office because other software requires it.

Many thanks in advance!
Stay healthy !

so long

Logitech SetPoint software certainly used to allow you to define actions for specific areas of the touchpad. I think they referred to this as 'hotspot' setting.
Perhaps that is what is going on.
Check your Start menu for Logitech software and check in Control panel, Mouse.
If it's not LogiTech then it's software provided by your computer maker. Check for that and search their support website / user forum.

Best of luck,
Denis

I HAVE SOLVED THE PROBLEM!!!!

Download Logitech SetPoint, then disable all touch-pad gestures using the SetPoint application. There was no specific gesture setting in SetPoint for Teams/Chat, but disabling all gestures finally stopped the annoying popup!

I am guessing Windows 11 has different default touch-pad gestures than Windows 10, and Logitech hasn't updated their drivers/software to reflect the changes. I still think Microsoft should include a way to disable gestures on any touch-pad without needing to install additional software, but all is well that ends well.

Hello,
Many thanks for the competent and quick replies.
I will download SetPoint, install it and set it up as recommended - thanks!

If I don't get back to you about this, then everything is fine.

Unfortunately, many companies no longer claim to achieve 100%. Many are satisfied with 80 or 70%. This is not my world...

Just got back from testing:
1.
the annoying windows are gone!
2.
in my environment it is enough to disable 'Swipe from right edge to show Charms'.
3. I also shut down the 'widget.exe' service using 'Process Explorer'.
