TPM troubleshooting RUN menu is not listed in device security settings in my win 11 pro

Of late, I am having event id 30 warnings and find it weird that my pc does not wake up to display after some idle time. the monitor light starts bright but again goes to dim. this is not shown as critical error but as warnings in system logs. Result, i had to force power off and on to get back . I have to loose the unsaved work and existing browsing altogether. the source of the event id 30 from TPM, which i never touched so far. I have tpm 2.0 and the status shows as ready as working. When i went to the settings to run the tpm troubleshooter, i did not find that in the device security settings at all. There is one menu clear. i do not want to use it.
Has windows taken away this menu or it is something , that is done by some malware.This TPM settings are very sensitive and i also read that clearing will delete some system file data. I do not want to take the risk. I also send feedback to microsoft

i have cleared the TPM using Windows security and via the BIOS on both mine and my wife's systems.
Windows reloads the default data back to the TPM on restart. it has not caused me any problems thus far.

i reset the TPM before a clean install of Win 11 24H2 to ensure the TPM data for the new install was correct.
the troubleshooters have been deprecated by Microsoft its now but of MS help, i believe.

You could try the following and see if it is of any help:

Open Settings
Go to System
Click on Optional Settings

Click on View Features

Type in TPM
Add TPM Diagnostics
If it isn't available, it should mean that it's already installed. It should show in the previous window.

Hi, ants, I downloaded the tpm diagnostic tool . But , it is not shown in the settings even after downloading and there is no Run . menu either

Open command prompt as admin
Type or click this to copy “tpmdiagnostics.exe /?”
Press “Enter”
This will give you a list of commands available to use
OR
“TpmDiagnostics.exe GetCapabilities” command and press Enter will list the capabilities and settings of the installed TPM.

But I cannot advise you on how to use it.

In some other topics , I saw that this tool is no more available to run. is that true. Since I have frequent event id 30 from tpm, and i also have computer wake up problems , i have asked this forum

Did you first try updating all your drivers using dell support assist or the website for your Dell Inspiron 3910?

Personally I would ignore the errors in event viewer for the tpm for now, as the ui indicates no problems in your first screenshot with the tpm.

TPM errors as far as I understand have no effect on sleep or wake.

Reset and/or resume count do not match expected values after hibernate/resume. event id 30 is it tpm config error , or someother thing fix please

I thought of using screen savers to prevent computer going to the sleep mode . that does not work. I tried a kind of slideshow of wall paper to always change in few minutes intervals. it did not work. i have not enabled bit locker to change any settings . Then i checked my sign in options . It was set to logon with a pin. There I noticed a setting which was set to 15 minutes and the setting was, if you have been away, when should windows require you to sign in again and given option of minutes and never. I have chosen , never in the settings and now , when the computer hibernates, it is waking up on mouse button and enter key. I do not know, if i had done the right thing. screen saver never works, because the same no of minutes i have chosen to activate the screen saver. I think a clash of settings, screen saver on, power settings in few minutes, and this additional settings option is the cause for hibernation not working properly.I have opted for chkdsk, sfc /scannow with no issues. please say ,if what i have done is correct, so that i could mark this thread as solved

You should have been able to turn off sleep mode in your power settings and still have the screensaver activate. Not sure why you need to reference TPM for any of this?

the tpm comes here because of the error I got . event id.30. which says, the reset hibernation settings do not match. that is the reason , why i raised this topic. I also do not know, how to find the issue in troubleshooting tpm.
