Hello all. I'm having problems with Paintshop Pro 9. I've had it installed for many of years with no problems. I upgrade to Windows 11 and it was still working. Then about a few weeks ago, I noticed that when I go to open a picture(jpeg, bmp, etc) that the program opens up, but no picture. If I go to new, open, then the picture will open. I have tried several things that another member on another post told me to try and no change. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 5 times. Ran SFC and found no errors. Tried the ISO that was on that persons post and still no change. We have it installed on my wife's computer, which is the exact same computer, and she is not having any problems. I'm at a lost here.

Well, I know this isn't an answer, but it's a place to start.
Something changed a few weeks ago, on your computer, but not on your wife's computer.

That's what you need to discover... what changed a few weeks ago, on your system, but not on your wife's system.

Unfortunately that is not completely true. Two computers of identical make and model on a dealer's shelf are the same at that time. Buy both, take home and set up for use, small change between them in the Operating System. Start adding programs and the difference can increase. I'd be looking into what settings and software is different between the two such as all the updates been done, have some customizations been done on one but not the other.

Both computers are home made, not a brand name. Both computers has been on windows 11 at the same time for about 4 months. And both computers was working fine.

Now might be a good time to consider 3rd party backup software. ^^
