Turn off windows Spotlight background images?

I change my background to a solid color.
After a while my background changes to a new spotlight image.

I change my background to one of my photos.
After a while my background changes to a new spotlight image.

How do I disable windows spotlight???!!!!!!! The images look terrible on my wide screen!

I've given up and have started to use a third party app: wallpaper engine which covers the Microsoft spotlight wallpaper which continues to change periodically.

I'm not in Win11 ATM but in Win10 one can change the Background. Yours may be set on Slideshow?

@SmokeMe it doesn't matter what I set it to solid color, picture, slideshow.. it always reverts back to spotlight image slideshow.

This is really annoying 😭 but I will keep using wallpaper engine.

I modified the group policy settings to prevent changing of the background hopefully this works...
