This tutorial will show you how to turn on or off suggested replies to text messages in the Phone Link app for your account in Windows 11.
With the Phone Link app on your PC linked to your Android phone, you can instantly access the Android apps installed on your mobile device right on your Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC. Using a Wi-Fi connection, Apps allows you to browse, play, order, chat, and more — all while using your PC’s larger screen and keyboard.
Suggested Replies are beginning to roll out to Windows Insiders across all channels with Phone Link version 1.24051.98 and higher.
Suggested Replies is a new feature to the Phone Link app for Android users that shows suggested text replies generated through a cloud-based service with AI.
With Suggested Replies, you’ll see 3 contextually relevant reply bubbles to choose from when you receive a message. The feature is turned on by default, so you can start using it right away. Simply select a suggested reply and it’ll be sent immediately.
EXAMPLE: Suggested Replies as shown in Phone Link when replying to a message
Here's How:
1 Open the Phone Link app on your Windows 10/11 PC.
2 Click/tap on the Settings (gear) icon. (see screenshot below)
3 Click/tap on Features in the middle Settings pane.
4 Under Additional settings in the right Features pane, turn On (default) or Off Suggested replies for what you want.
That's it,
Shawn Brink
