Take a look at the video linked to below. It turns out that the price is NOT technically increasing. What Microsoft is really doing is pushing you into a higher tier product and making you pay for it. It's like having a Silver, Gold, and Platinum plan and they are nudging you into the next higher tier and making you pay for it without telling you that this is what they are doing. But you can contact MS and tell them you don't want this. This also gets rid of copilot.
