Two OneDrive accounts - show up in different areas of explorer depending on computer. How to unify?

Hey all,

Differently on the silly side of the spectrum, but this has been bothering me for a bit. I found this forum and figured I would give it a shot to see if there is a way to adjuust this!

Windows 11 22H2 Build 22621.1848

I have two computers, a desktop and a laptop. I have two separate OneDrive accounts, a personal and a business.

When I open Explorer on one computer (the Laptop), both OneDrive accounts appear next to each other on the top of the navigation panel next to home.

On my desktop, there appear separately. The personal account is on the top next to home, and the business account is on the bottom next to "This PC"

Is there anyway to adjust the desktop so that the business account also appears at the top, next to Home?

Thanks!

Hello, welcome to elevenforum.
I could just drag the OneDrive at the bottom (near this PC) to the top, near home?

I can drag & drop it to the QuickAccess area, but not the area right above that:

The black line you can see under OneDrive shows that it is going to move there. I do not see why that isn’t working?

I know this is an old thread, but was this ever resolved?

I recently upgraded from Win10 to Win11, and initially, both OneDrive icons WERE at the top, under Home, and that's how I wanted it. But today, one has moved to beneath the favourites. And dragging to relocate it doesn't work.

Anyone else with two or more work/school accounts how to they appear for you?

Thanks

Jim

Hey Jim,

Nope, never solved, at least by me. The business OneDrive continues to move around in Explorer every so often. No rhyme or reason I can figure out. I've just come to accept it at this point.

Try this:

In Windows Explorer, go to Options, and then the View tab, then scroll to the bottom under the Navigation section, and place a check by Show all folders.

That will hide all those pinned folders (because now you're showing all folders anyway).

(It does not unpin them, if you remove the check mark on that line item, they are unhidden).

If it works, cool. I have every one of those checked, so it may be a combination of them, but the pinned folders get unhidden for me with that one check mark.

Of course, if it works, now you gotta decide if you want the pinned items more or you want the One Drive items next to each other more.
