I use Google chrome. When I opened the Google chrome browser a while back, got a message on top right that UBlock origin is turned off and then when I check the extensions, it says turned off because it is no longer supported. Was this recent? I checked online and it said something about this a while back? So what is a good alternative for it? Back then I recall I used something called Adblocker but then used UBlock origin.

Anyone notice this recently when opening Google chrome?

What can I download to use now? I downloaded ublock origin lite but didn't change any settings but it still shows sponsored videos next to other YouTube videos on YouTube site? Now when a video plays, it seems to take over 10 seconds before the actual YouTube video plays? Is there a way to fix this with the settings on ublock origin lite? I know the default settings are the ones I'm using and after it got downloaded, it seemed to give me option to do do medium or high but I stocked with low?

Multiple discussions about this. As of now....You should be able to reenable uBlock Origin. But only for a few more months. Supposedly uBlock Lite s pretty good but I have not used it to verify. Otherwise my advice...switch to Firefox.

I'm a computer enthusiast so have quite a few systems that I run. More like an advanced hobby.
I just went and turned ublock origin back on and it does work. It does show a message that it isn't supported but turning it on does work. I didn't know this.

So has it worked the last few weeks? I had it turned off the last few weeks and either used nothing or ublock origin lite or turned off ublock origin lite.

I went and played a YouTube short video and there is a freezing sound and frozen video? I had to close the tab but this happened multiple times.

So there is issue if using ublock origin now?

Can someone please clarify if we're allowed to chat about adblockers or not?
We recently saw a number of adblocker threads deleted. I'm confused. Either way doesn't bother me.
