I'm an old PhD from Imperial College (London) -- still one of the best Uni's in the world today and I couldn't make head or tail of the thing -- I even had a couple of glasses of pure single malt Isle of Islay scotch (here around €50 a bottle so if visiting please bring some duty free over !!) just to check that a little alcohol throat lubrication might clear the brain a bit -- no joy. Even Copilot just errored out !!!! (what a surprise - a Windows app terminating prematurely !!! whoever would have guessed it).

cheers

I found it to be a perfectly coherent, knowledge based conversation with a rater intelligent philosophical backbone.
I find Salim Ismail to be a breath of fresh intelligence.

If you’re interested:

After graduating from university, Ismail worked as a software architect for CSC Europe and later as a business consultant at ITIM Associates in London. In 1999, he became the COO of New York Business Forums in New York City.

Tech Entrepreneur. Prior to Singularity, Ismail was a vice president at Yahoo, where he built and ran Brickhouse, the company’s internal incubator. His last company, Ångströ, a news aggregation startup, was sold to Google in 2010. He has founded or operated seven early-stage companies including PubSub Concepts, which laid some of the foundation for the real-time web, and the New York Grant Company, a direct response to 9/11. In its first year, the organization attracted over 400 clients and delivered over $12 million of federal grants to the local economy.

Solving Humanity’s Greatest Challenges. Ismail has spent the last seven years building Singularity as its founding executive director (2008-2010) and current global ambassador. SU is based at NASA Ames, and its goal is to “educate, inspire and empower a new generation of leaders to apply exponential technologies to address humanity’s grand challenges.” SU – whose founders hail from Google and the XPRIZE Foundation – has empowered people from more than 85 countries to apply disruptive technologies – biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and neuroscience – to more than 100 startups and countless patents and ideas.

I'd hardly call Biotechnology for starters a "disruptive" technology -- without it 1000,000's across the globe would be either dead or have an incredibly poor lifestyle.

Ah well I suppose modern English changes meanings -- back in my day disruption meant student protests, other things etc that would severely inconvenience people not improve their lives. Well I suppose it's "Bak 2 Skule" for me.

Cheers
