This tutorial will show you how to view, rename, delete, share, or export your Bing Chat conversation history in Copilot for your account in Windows 11 and Windows 10.

Windows is the first PC platform to provide centralized AI assistance to you. Together with Microsoft Copilot (formerly Bing Chat), Copilot in Windows helps you get answers and inspirations from across the web, supports creativity and collaboration, and helps you focus on the task at hand. Do more with Copilot in Windows.

Starting with Windows 11 build 22631.3810 and Windows 10 build 19045.4593 (RP and Beta) Microsoft is evolving the Copilot** experience on Windows as an app that will be pinned to the taskbar. This enables users to get the benefits of a traditional app experience, including the ability to resize, move, and snap the window.

With the new Copilot app, you can search and access your Copilot anytime, anywhere. Ask your Copilot anything you want, from trivia questions to creating images. Like a friend, Copilot will give you quick and helpful answers, along with suggestions for what to do next. You can even use voice to search or chat, and your history and preferences will sync across all your devices.

Copilot is designed to enhance your productivity by leveraging the power of AI. To access the full capabilities of Copilot, you are required to sign into the Copilot app using your Microsoft account or Microsoft Entra Account (work or school account).

Chat history (conversations) is a saved list of the requests and responses, including any images, from your interactions with Copilot in Windows. Your chat history can be found in the left pane of the Copilot app or at copilot.microsoft.com. You can delete previous chats individually at any time.

By default, Chat history data is stored for 90 days from the last update to the conversation.

Hello mate, :alien:

When exporting a chat to Word, it does so to the online Word that requires you to sign in to the site with your Microsoft account first.

You can export a chat to a PDF or TXT file on your desktop without it requiring to sign in first. Of course, you have to already be signed in to the Chat app though.

Please say, if i could export to pdf all the chats in a session. That would be easy for continuance of conversation. Normally I ask typical queries and then detailed queries inside the topic, so, is there any way to export the whole conversation to a pdf or txt.

Please say , how, I tried to export, only the chat that was replied by copilot for a query is shown in pdf and not entire chat.
As I have pointed out, you use copilot to know the intricacies of a certain thing, how works, etc, by first just asking a query and then ask queries , on the specifics , on the replies given by the copilot.
Copilot is a real boon to the society, in it goes deep to the data base and comes with precise answers , notably true answers. Yesterday, I had chat with it on mpc-hc configuration and I wanted to preserve it. But only one conversation could be selected when clicking export. Please say, how to export total chat as pdf or as text

When you select to Export a specific chat (conversation) to PDF in the Chat app, it should then open the Print dialog where you can select either "Save as PDF" or "Microsoft Print to PDF", and click on Save or Print to do so.

It just opened the chat conversation in Word online for me. You could then save it to the desktop afterwards though.
