Hi folks
In the past VM's were a bit "sluggish" for multi-media, streaming, cd ripping etc etc.
These days especially if you can "pass thru" video / audio devices / TV sticks / other hardware etc to the VM then a VM works almost as good as Native.

I've had no probs with Photoshop etc in the past using a VM but these days SKY GO, CD ripping, Netflix, etc etc all work perfectly .
This is using W11 "The Birdie Build (Canary)" on KVM/QEMU - latest Linux kernel 6.2.8-1 but on HYPER-V VM's are also extremely good too.
Those who've never messed around with VM's should really try them these days -- have come a long way from a few years ago. Try the genuine HYPERVISOR systems rather than VmWare or Virtual Box, Bothe HYPER-V and KVM/QEMU are free of course which adds to their attractiveness.
Cheers
