My web cam went dead, so it's time to buy a new one ! My old one people said the volume was really low, so i need one with plenty of volume on the receiving end !! And yes they turned their volume way up !

Yeah but, webcams are one of those things you don't want to chintz out on!
You're gonna be way happier and enjoy a better experience if you buy a good one right up front.

How is the sound on the other end when you are using it ? Mine was so low people complained but it was a cheapie ! $30 i think years ago !

It looks small because of the form factor. But it is almost the same considering the weight probably. Most webcams have a "winged" design. This one is cubed.

I personally don't worry about the sound quality because I explored two options for the audio capture involving a logitech blue yeti and Elgato Wave 1 mic. You probably just need to buy a decent mic and keep your webcam.

After watching the video review you posted I decided to go give the Anker A3369 a try. It arrived this morning and I have to admit I'm very impressed with the camera. The camera works just as great as in the video. I had very low light in the room, but the quality of the video was just as good as if I had turned on the lights. It was well worth the $59.99 price. I'll be donating my Logitech camera to my son.

That's good to know.
I am just not sure if the mic of this Anker webcam works well because I use a separate mic and never gave the built in mic a try.

I'm giving the Anker a try. I have a low-resolution Logitech webcam at the moment. I like the fact that you can adjust how much the viewable area is on the Anker. It had a $10.00 coupon, so I went ahead and got it. It will be here tomorrow. We'll see how it goes!

I haven't tested the microphone yet. I'm hoping my wife and I can do a videochat with her sister tonight. If not tonight, my wife has on online meeting with her therapist tomorrow.
