Hi All -
Our other computer is still running Windows 10 Pro, and my wife complained that when she creates a shortcut thru Google Chrome, it automatically is also pinned on the taskbar. I was curious about if the same thing would happen in Windows 11 Pro, so I just tried it. Yeah, it does. Go to the 3 dots at the right top of Chrome, and go to More Tools>Create Shortcut . . . and create a shortcut. It will put it on the desktop, and pin it to the taskbar, too. It won't go away until unpinned. It does not happen if you copy the URL and go to the desktop and create a new shortcut. It never used to do that. What gives?
