Hi. In Reliability Monitor, there is a long list of "Windows Has Successfully Reconfigured ....." and relates to Apps like Reflect and .Net etc. All happens in the background.
What exactly does it do and is it necessary? Thanks.

Hi @glasskuter . No these are Dell laptops and an AIO desktop. I'm not on the pcs for long but these reconfiguration seem to happen in the background if longer than normal. There's no outward signs of this going on and the list takes less than a minute to do. There's a list of apps and .NET Framework which are reconfigured. I think it's more a Windows thing than a Dell/HP thing but I'm not sure. Just shows in Reliability Monitor. Thanks.

Dell's SupportAssist does the same wacky thing as HP's Support Assistant, in creating tons of these notifications. If you're not getting any benefit from SupportAssist (other than reminding you there might be a newer driver), then uninstall it.

Hi @garlin . So this could be Dell Supportassist messing about? 2 of the 3 pcs have Supportassist installed but I got rid of it on the third. I'll check this pc and see if it shows there. Agreed about SA. It has caused me more problems than it solved but as 2 pcs are still under warranty Tech Support seem to insist that it's installed. I tend to use Dell Update to check for driver updates and not SA. Thanks again.

I have two dell machines (a desktop and a laptop) with NO dell bloatware, let alone support assist. I also see these reconfiguration items in reliability monitor sometimes. Maybe there's some dell rubbish I have missed, but I can't find anything.

Maybe someone will see this thread who knows what's happening.

Application updates can cause these reconfigurations. For example, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office click-to-run all generate these messages.

check your services for anything related to dell assistant and set it to Manual and Stop the service. then go into task scheduler and find any dell assistant related stuff and end it then disable it.
