WhatsApp Desktop app randomly closing (both normal and beta versions)

Is anyone else having issues with the desktop WhatsApp? I have tried both version from the Microsoft Store and they both randomly, sometimes over and over every minute or two, sometimes very infrequently, just shut themselves down - often mid typing which is very annoying! Thanks.

Use Revo Uninstaller to uninstall the WhatsApp app and reinstall it to see problem resolves i don't have your problem.

Will do - thanks - fingers crossed as I use WhatsApp all the time for personal and work stuff

Hey Adam, I don't have your issue but do not use the MSStore version but rather the normal executable.
First uninstall AGAIN, making sure no reg entries are left behind , reboot your system then run the installer:

www.whatsapp.com

Thanks - I'll try that - although that download link now installs it through the MS Store now anyway :(

Yep did that - it's crashing less now but still on the odd occasion (typically usually just after I've typed a long reply!)
