I'm running Win 11, I have FXSound ... I think that's where it comes from. But I don't know how to prevent it from cutting my sound when the screen goes to sleep while listening...

If the sound is coming through the monitor speakers then maybe when the screen goes to sleep the sound mutes as well? It may be a monitor setting? Just guessing here.
