In Windows 7, to bring up the Wifi Network Connection Status dialog (so I can see the send/receive bytes)

1. I will click on the wifi 5-bar icon in the system tray,
2. right-click to select my wifi connection
3. select Status

Unfortunately, that does not show the real-time stats for the data coming in and data going out of my computer/device, like the screenshot I posted, showing just under the Activity section. I recall in one of my older tablets with win8.1 you would do the same or similar steps and it would read out the in/out bytes, if I call correctly. I can't find that tablet at the moment to double-check for that.

OH, because there is no Settings>network & Internet>advanced network settings in win10 using your steps.

Currently in Windows 11, you can still get to the status window from both control panel and settings. Soon, MS will be phasing out its presence in control panel as they're moving everything to settings.
