Why is my list of apps empty(changing the copilot key)

I am not using Copilot so I remove it...or that's what I thought,it is still accessible through msedge but I cannot start it anymore with the copilot key(it brings the page to choose what I want the button to do)
I can only select Search or Custom(that have an empty list)

Back when this feature was still new in the insider builds, Microsoft made it possible for basically any app to be launched using the Copilot Key. Unfortunately for some reason they decided to nerf what could have become an incredible quick-launch button by making developers have to opt-in to allowing their app to be opened using the Copilot Key. Now as this is a fairly new feature, basically no developer has opted-in and most of Microsoft's first party applications have not either. So at the moment this button is useless for PC's that don't have Copilot installed.

Co-Pilot is now an app and different to co-pilot in MS Edge.
You can launch co-pilot from anywhere as long as the app is installed.

Well you did uninstall co-pilot so...


You can remap your Co-Pilot key to something else if you like, apparently.

The problem with remapping the key is that basically no apps support it at the moment.
