Solved why search command modified: date1..date2 fail to capture correct period files

I wanted to search files from date to date to filter those files . i have so many files in the folders. I came across this function that is used by windows 11. While earlier versions have date selector, this windows explorer does not have one. If there is please say, where it is .
I used the above formula to find files in between dates. But, the command did not work correctly. It showed, files beyond those dates and I am not able to filter it .
If i can use any other software also, please kindly let me know . Why this important function is not properly captured is not known.
expect a solution soon. my system date format is ddmmyyyy
I used the command modified: 01052023..31082023. It listed some files which are beyond dates.

I tried modified: date12212022..date12252022 in my Pictures folder and got "No items match your search".

Hi, Berton, do you mean to say, that I have wrongly given the dates. My format is ddmmyyyy and got results beyond the search date. is there any other alternative method to do the same

I don't know, I'm in the Mountain West of the USA and 9:15 PM and that time/date format is normal for us.

What I missed is the date format with - in between, as my system date format dd-mm-yyyy. thanks . you saved me from searching all over the documents , which is quite large. I just want pdf files, so i included file type: pdf before the command and it worked .thank you

We're just stubborn holdouts on that durn Metric system, and switching the month & day format.
