Wifi speeds decreased significantly in recent weeks on Win 11 desktop

I'm not on this Asus desktop often but I first noticed the slow wifi speeds about a month ago. We have Cox 500 down and I'm only getting 25ish down consistently. ALL other devices (phones and pcs) are getting the full wifi speed but this laptop is the only one that has Windows 11...So do you think it's possibly a Windows issue or hardware?

Full WiFi speed is kind ambiguous because it depends upon the router and the capabilities of each computers WiFi.
I assume you have dual-band 2.4 and 5 GHz. The 2.4GHz has greater range than 5GHz band but the 2.4GHz can be slower than the 5GHz band.
Depending upon the age of the device it might support 802.11 g/n/ac/ax where g is the slowest and ax is the fastest.

Do you know what its WiFi specs are and what band it is connecting to?

One time I had a laptop whose WiFi speed dropped from 300-400Mbps down to 50-100Mbps. I tried for weeks trying to figure out why the WiFi was so slow. I ended having to reinstall Windows to fix the problem.

You might need an update.
Go to the Device Manager and see who provides the wifi module.
Mine is Killer and is updated by Intel


The Intel® Driver & Support Assistant

I can't go because it starts to assess my drivers as I have the module installed
but, get the module (app) from the link I provided , install and it will
take you to Intel's site through your browser and evaluate the drivers and
ask if you want to update your Intel drivers.

If it's from another provider , go their site for driver updates.

It would be worth trying both these 2 procedures to see if it makes a difference.

As well, attached is @FreeBooter .bat file which resets network components. RIGHT click on the .bat file and select run as administrator.
