Based on past releases, the 2025 Windows 11 25H2 update is probably expected to be released later in the second half of the year, potentially in September or October or early November.

In a blog post, Microsoft has announced that the Dev Channel for Windows 11 will be moving ahead to “26200 series builds,” which are based on 24H2 but will be getting “behind-the-scenes platform changes” that cause it to diverge from the Beta Channel builds. According to Windows Latest, this could be interpreted as Microsoft starting work on this year’s 25H2 update, though it isn’t explicitly confirmed.
In the official announcement, Microsoft only confirmed that the 26200 build series is based on Windows 11 24H2. There’s no explicit mention of a Windows 11 25H2 version or Windows 11 2025 Update.
However, announcements like this in the Dev Channel are usually a sure sign that important changes are imminent. When Microsoft start working towards a potential new release there are a few clues to look for. They keep the name of the next version a secret for as long as possible, rather than give it a real name they call it 'version Dev' or (for its updates) 'version Next'.
The final pre-cursor of Windows 11, build 21390.2025 on June 14 2021, was still pretending to be 10, but named as Version Dev in Winver.

- fully 'Windows 11 ready' laptop. Windows 10 C: partition migrated from my old unsupported 'main machine' then upgraded to 11. A test migration ran Insider builds for 2 months. When 11 was released on 5th October 2021 it was re-imaged back to 10 and was offered the upgrade in Windows Update on 20th October. Windows Update offered the 22H2 Feature Update on 20th September 2022. It got the 23H2 Feature Update on 4th November 2023 through Windows Update, and 24H2 on 3rd October 2024 through Windows Update by setting the Target Release Version for 24H2.

I would say any day. MS thus far released RTM in April each year, like 23H2 and 24H2.
