I have had my Windows machine set to not delete the thumbnail cache and to maintain a big one. I had gone to the registry entries at

and set the Autorun DWORD to 0. They are still set that way. I also went to
And added a new String Value named Max cached icons with a large size. It worked great for quite a while. However, as of the bit fall release the icon cache appears to be getting purged regularly again. Have they changed things to make these tweaks not work anymore?
