So this has started happening lately.

I get access denied, i click sign in. 5 seconds later or 30 seconds later its back again, have to repeat it over and over. Sometimes i can browse my email for a while, then suddenly i get access denied which can either go away by itself after 1-2 seconds or i need to click sign in. When clicking sign in, i do not have to write my password, have never gotten any password login on this Outlook (New) mail.

Have tried removing and adding email account.
Tried changing my Windows/account password
Tried removing windows credential related to my account.

In default apps i see two Outlook apps

Which flavour of Outlook?
That’s what it has come to, that’s for sure. It would certainly help if they were identified by something, like a flavour, would make discussions so much easier.

    …still on a horse.
Since OP has installed both, uninstalling one of them might help.
Presumably they are both running and thus causing the issue.

Its the "New" Outlook.

You have Microsoft Outlook Version 1.2024.313.100 (Production).
Client Version is 20240315003.10 .

How do i uninstall the "old" version? Can figure it out.
It seems i can only uninstall the New version.

There's the newest Outlook in Office 2024, Outlook the crap store app or Outlook web,

2024 can be removed via the control panel, Store version via the store, online version you can simply just not visit.

It appears im using the Store version, i can toggle off the "New outlook" switch, then it seems like im back to the Office 2019 version

I cannot find any way to uninstall anything else than this version.

So i have in installed apps:
Outlook NEW (which can be uninstalled)
Mail and Calendar (which also can be uninstalled)

In Default apps i have:
Outlook (Cannot be uninstalled)
Outlook NEW (Cannot be uninstalled)

What a mess!

I also have Office 2019 installed... Can this be the culprit?

It seems like everytime im gonna read new incoming mail, i get this sign in/access denied message

I apparantly have two version
Office 2019 and the Store version, here they are - side-by-side

Think i have this more clear now;

I have the original Windows 11 mail app which i can toggle to Outlook NEW
and i also have the Office 2019 Outlook which can also be toggled to Outlook NEW

Both was set to toggle Outlook NEW, i have now toggled the Office 2019 version back, so gonna see if that helps.
